I own an appraisal business and my hobby is Judo. Well I actually look more like a Sumo wrestler than a Judo player and I'd like to change that. Physically I feel pretty strong but I don't have nearly the cardio I used to have. I took a couple of years off playing because my ankle and shoulder were continuously in pain. My son Sam started playing Judo this Spring and a couple weeks after I started. So my goal this year is to lose a ton of weight and to win at least one match at a tournament. The first goal might be tougher than the second!

Getting Started January 17, 2011
I know its cliche, but I want my New Years Revolution (misspelled on purpose) to be losing a ton of weight this year. I didn't start on New Years Day because that would be WAY too cliche. My name is Chris Garbage and I live in Orlando Florida, I'm 41 years old I'm married to Deb and I have one son, Sam. I was in a hit and run accident Feb 1998, I was riding a bicycle and a car hit me and just kept on going, it shattered my tibia and broke my fibula in three places. The Ortho surgeon said it was the worst tib/fib break he'd ever seen that didn't end in fatality, he was most impressed that I didn't compound fracture. I was really lucky not to die, the surgeon said usually the foot comes off and you bleed to death in seconds. It was necessary to re break my leg Oct. to straighten it. Before my accident I was in really good physical condition, I was in the gym 3 days a week, I played Judo 2 days a week and I cycled nearly every day, up until the accident. I have steadily gained weight since then. I know you are supposed to start this weight loss thing with a weigh in but I don't have a scale so I'll weigh in soon and report back. I would use the scale at Publix (locall grocery store) but it stops at 300, I max it out. Hahaha! If I were green I swear I'd look like Shrek!!!!!
